Ok, so in follow-up to my post about explosions in Denver, I found out that they were indeed fireworks. Wtf? From the looks of it, they originated a few miles east of me: near Cherry Creek Reservoir. I am at the intersection of I-25 (google shows it as Hwy 87?) & I-225. [...]

Ok, so they started a little bit ago (5 minutes?). I thought they were gunshots at first, but the bangs have continued. There are smaller pops and such, like fireworks. Or like small arms fire you hear from video in a war zone.
